Dr. Jeff Heldt is the Beef Technical Services Lead for Selko USA. Jeff is native Nebraskan and currently resides in Scottsbluff Nebraska. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 with a major Animal Science from the University of Wyoming. He received a Master of Science degree from South Dakota State University in 1995 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Kansas State University in 1998. Both advanced degree programs had an emphasis in range cow nutrition and forage utilization. Jeff is also active with his volunteer efforts in the beef industry and is a past President of the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Research and Education Foundation and is a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen Western Nebraska Affiliate and past co-chairman for the 2014 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska. Currently, Jeff is on the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Board of Directors.
