Gary Rohrer received his B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Illinois, M.S. in Animal Breeding and Ph. D. in Genetics from Texas A&M University. He is currently a Research Geneticist with the USDA-Agricultural Research Service at the US Meat Animal Research Center in Clay Center, NE USA. His work focuses on finding genetic markers for important swine production traits.
