I am Madison Henniger, a fourth-year PhD student working with Dr. Phillip Myer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My current research focuses on host genetic control of the rumen microbiome, with the goal of augmenting feed efficiency and gain in beef cattle. I previously received my MS from the University of Tennessee focusing in growth-promoting implant strategies and the rumen microbiome and metabolome.
