My Ph.D. was obtained in Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, and Institute of Animal Sciences of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. I mainly engaged in microbial-host interactions regulate gastrointestinal, liver, and mammary gland health in ruminants (dairy cows and dairy goats). During my doctoral study, I mainly focused on the regulation mechanism of prebiotics on udder health and milk quality based on gut-mammary axis. Our study showed that dietary supplementation of prebiotics (inulin) could increase the abundance of beneficial commensal bacteria and the concentration of short-chain fatty acids, reduce the abundance of pathogenic microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract and mammary gland of dairy cow, thereby alleviating subclinical mastitis in dairy cows and improving the milk quality. During the post-doctoral period, I investigated the key mechanisms behind varied resilience and susceptibility to NASH in dairy goats based on gut-liver axis. To date, I published 9 papers in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Journal of dairy Science, Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology, Animal nutrition, and Applied and environmental microbiology, etc.
